This model is what we describe as a sloppy smoke alarm. As the smoke alarm does not latch firmly onto the ceiling base. It also has a design flaw in the backup battery compartment. A poorly designed model. Which results in householders frequently requesting changeover before it reaches expiry. Based on its performance and track record we rate it 3 out of 10.
